The neighborhood on all sides of 605 Waller is an utterly charming residential enclave conveniently situated near the crossroads of three wonderful adjoining neighborhoods (Hayes Valley, Duboce Triangle and Alamo Square) and is very centrally located for access to so many other parts of the city.

If you enjoy the arts, you’ll enjoy walking to and from the San Francisco Performing Arts Center (housing the San Francisco Ballet, San Francisco Opera, and San Francisco Symphony). The nationally-acclaimed Hayes Valley Jazz Center is even closer.

To the northwest, a few blocks away, is the Divisadero Corridor and NoPa. Neighborhood bars The Page and Horsefeather sit alongside restaurants like Ragazza, 4505 Burgers & BBQ, and Nopa. The short stroll through the Wiggle to this area also brings you to Bi-Rite’s second location, a great local Sunday Farmer’s market, and The Mill’s excellent bread and coffee.

To the south, across Duboce Park and past the verdant tree-lined streets of Duboce Triangle, lies the Market Street corridor, where you will find numerous MUNI connections and countless eateries, bars, and boutiques as well as Whole Foods and other grocery stores. Market Street offers fine dining, exotic cocktails, burgers, sushi, Indian cuisine, and everything in between. Observe all the action from the deck of the Lookout (the gay bar at the corner of Noe and Market) or take in a leisurely brunch on the sunny, landscaped veranda of Cafe Flor. On Wednesdays afternoons, stock up for dinner with fresh locally-grown produce at the bustling Farmers Market on Noe @ Market.

605 Waller is also a very short 1-stop ride to Cole Valley and Golden Gate Park (the N-Judah MUNI enters the tunnel right at the Duboce Park stop).
